French as a Second Language (FSL)
Integration into the workforce
FRENCH LEVEL I: (100 Hours)
Level one is the first step to the introduction of French course where the door can be open for beginners, starting with the basics of French grammar as well as how to introduce themselves and greet others , also they will also be able to make simple sentences and give directions.
FRENCH LEVEL II: (100 Hours)
The Second Level is a continuance of level 1, hence the students applying for this course need to know the basics of French (the alphabet, numbers, how to conjugate verbs in the present tense, and be able to perform the tasks as described in the previous course), at the end of this level the student will have the capacity to speak about work, family, their interests, the weather, and be able to participate in brief conversations.
FRENCH LEVEL III: (100 Hours)
Level 3 represents a step to learning communication, specifically, when it comes to interaction between people, although this leads to the 2 main activities Listening and speaking while communicating, as well as writing and reading, this course focuses mostly on the practical side of the French Language where there are Exercises, role-playing along with learning games.
FRENCH LEVEL IV: (100 Hours)
At this level, the students applying for this step know already how to communicate in French, moreover have a global idea about the French grammar (i.e. present, past, and future tenses), achieving this course, the students will be able to make easy conversations with others, therefore they will be capable to develop some writing skills.
FRENCH LEVEL V: (100 Hours)
Level 5 represents the confidence step, where the student will have the capability to make conversations with many different topics and get easy to practice the direct share interactions with others, in addition to the capacity of writing in easy sentences.
FRENCH LEVEL VI: (100 Hours)
This course is created for students with a good foundation in French, this level allows over viewing the French grammar and to improve their proportion towards fluency, with the practice of speaking, reading, writing, and listening. The Reading Support substance will be French original novels from the most famous one such as Baudelaire, Voltaire, Rousseau also audio files for the listening parts.
FRENCH LEVEL VII: (100 Hours)
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to participate effectively in most formal and informal conversations about practical, social, and professional topics. Tutee will have the capacity to analyze information and debate the topic. They will have mastered enough of the language to enable them to do advanced tasks such as defend an opinion, deal with hypothetical issues, and discuss complex work-related issues.
FRENCH LEVEL VIII: (100 Hours)
Successful students who attend to achieve the advanced level French ; will have access to the course that will be focused on refining conversational skills and reviewing essential grammar points as well as exploring advanced grammar and complex sentence structure and Modern francophone culture, spotlighted as well as French literature and cinematographers such as Francois Truffaut, Eric Rohmer, and Claude Berri, also students will discover Units on sociopolitical aspects of French history from 1789 to the present are examined.
FRENCH LEVEL IX: (100 Hours)
At this level the course will lead to French literature and historical survey of the French civilization which has Art, philosophy, and Science, Reading is a big part of the course from the old references from the Middle ages starting from gracious antiquated epic to philosophies of the enlightenment and expression of equalitarian ideal of the Revolution . All the activities Reading, Writing, Speaking and listening will be in French.
